For almost every State, development is always on the top priority list. Either it is the social spending, healthcare, infrastructure or any other sort, the authority is always looking for ways to further develop their condition and make the living standards of that area better. Same is the case for Conroe, Texas.

The Conroe City Council agreed towards the further development of the city at its meeting on 28th May, when they approved three municipal utility districts to be created which contributes in the development of the place which brings the possibility of more than 12,000 homes to the city.

According to the Director of Community Development, Nancy Mikeska, “As we deal with other issues we haven’t had to deal with before, I think the potential for growth is still there.” She believes in the developmental sector of Conroe by virtue of the fact that she does not perceive Conroe’s development to slow down in these times. However, she believes that the development will be having a fast pace now since the developers are keen to start their projects and ground them as soon as physically possible.

Mikeska also discusses how Conroe is not going to assist in the provision of water or sewer in the creation of these three municipal utility districts, acquiring 3,074 acres of land. In addition to this, the Keystone development is set to be situated off SH 242.

This construction will be providing comfort by catering to single-family residences with the price that ranges from $250,000 to $350,000, as well as including 50- or 60-feet wide sizes. Furthermore, it also caters to commercial development and multifamily residence by keeping some property space for this purpose as well. Mikeska also adds that the first phase of the development process is set to start in 2021, and focus on all the key aspects.
