Selling you home is always a stressful business, you want to make sure you get the most out of the sale, and are not cheated in terms of how much you receive. To make sure they receive the most out of your sale, people tend to fix up their home, so it looks newer and better than it did before. This way buyers are more willing to raise their price to get the house. Some ways to fix up your home are:

1. Kitchen Up Do

* Faucets: A simple thing, but you have no idea how big of a difference having good and pretty faucets will pull your kitchen together and make it look better than it is.

* Repair and Replace: Take a thorough look at everything in the kitchen, from the tiles to the cupboard handles, and make sure everything is in top shape. This will ensure you get a higher offer for your house, as it will look newer and trendier than it was before.

* Appliances: If you plan to sell the house fully furnished, with the appliances in your kitchen, make sure they are clean and working. If they need simple repairs, get them done before showing the house for selling.

2. Bathroom Up Do

* Stains: Bathrooms tend to get dirty easily, and stained. Rust makes it way onto many bathroom appliances. Before you look into selling your house, get all these stains removed. It is a pretty simple process, but makes your bathroom appear neat and orderly, and attracts buyers.

*Fixtures: Outdated fixtures can put a damper on your selling potential. Make sure you replace any outdated fixtures.

*Tiles: Tiles are easily worn out over time. Make sure to inspect your bathroom floor and fix any small cracks in the tiles.

3. Bedroom Up Do

*Paint touch up: Paint over time begins to crack and get damaged. Invest in a fresh coat of paint on your walls to make the room seem more modern. Bright colors, or pastel shades are worth looking into, as they make the room appear bigger than it is. Darker colors tend to make the room appear more congested and smaller.

*Wallpaper: If your walls are covered with wallpaper, make sure to inspect it to ensure there are no loose areas. If there are, use adhesive to fix them up.

*Cleaning: Bedrooms tend to gather a lot of dust, that you may not even notice as you have been living in them for so long. But others do, and it makes a lasting impression. So, before selling your house, get your curtains and carpets cleaned, to make sure there are no stains or dust balls gathered on them.

*Wooden Floors: If the room has wooden floors, make sure to get them polished, and cleaned properly. Make sure none of the floorboards have come loose, and if they have, get someone in to fix them. If you are not used to fixing up your house yourself, get someone in to do it. It is better, after all to be safe rather than sorry. And you would be surprised how a small fix up can go a long way.
